    This boutique is full of unique Mexican fine art and handicrafts in silver, wood, & gold. Located right by the reception office, we recommend you stop in and discover the beautiful things that are made all over Mexico.

    Every Wednesday and Saturday a market is set up at the entrance gates of Akumal. Not only will you find fruits and vegetables, but also local Mexican pottery, hamacs, and other Mexican handicrafts.

    The General Store. Akumal's answer to 7-11. Very well stocked for groceries, toiletries, basic medications, fresh produce, liquor, beer, and ice. Open every day from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
    A note to those who imbibe... Liquor is only sold during certain hours, please check the signs in the market. Also, if you don't see what you need, please ask. Chances are we have it in our walk-in coolers and freezers.
